Marketing Designer
Summary of the Role
We are looking for a Performance Creative Designer to personally create high-converting direct-response ads for sophisticated DTC and e-commerce consumer brands in the US and European markets. This is a dedicated, hands-on performance seat: you will design static ads in Canva and edit scroll-stopping short-form videos in CapCut for Meta (Reels/Feeds) and TikTok, with a focus on conversion, visual hierarchy and ad performance. Styles can range from bold, playful and expressive to clean and minimal, as long as the work shows sharp typography, strong composition and real direct-response judgment.
Desired Skills
- Full-Time availability.
- English B2 or above.
- 3+ years of directly relevant performance creative experience for DTC / e-commerce brands or performance marketing agencies.
- Canva and CapCut (mandatory): hands-on, fast and polished execution in both tools. You personally create the assets, rather than only directing or delegating creative production.
- Deep hands-on experience designing for Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok Ads.
- Mastery of direct-response principles: hooks, visual hierarchy, social proof, dynamic text overlays and native UGC feel.
- Strong typography, balanced composition and clear visual hierarchy, whether your style is bold and playful or sleek and minimal.
- Portfolio: personally authored English-language DTC paid-social work for sophisticated US/EU consumer brands, including at least 2 static ads and 1 short-form video for Meta or TikTok. You can explain exactly what you executed on each piece and which tools you used.
- Schedule availability: at least 5 hours of daily overlap with US Pacific Time (PT).
Responsibilities
- Direct-Response Static Ads: Personally create high-converting static ads, comparison charts, press callouts and feature breakdowns in Canva, with strong typography and visual hierarchy.
- Short-Form Video & UGC Editing: Edit fast-paced, scroll-stopping video ads in CapCut for Meta Reels and TikTok, optimizing the first 3-second hook, pacing, native overlays and clear CTAs.
- Creative Authorship: Confidently explain your personal contribution and the rationale behind every creative asset you produce.
- Western Market Alignment: Craft culturally resonant English-language hooks and visual layouts for sophisticated US/EU consumer brands.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop or Figma.
- Direct experience writing hooks, ad angles or visual briefs for US/EU consumer brands.
- Motion graphics or basic animation experience.
- A short recorded video introducing yourself and walking through your work.
Who You Are
- Precise & Diligent: You have high attention to detail, keep your files clean and organized, and follow creative briefs carefully.
- Direct-Response Driven: You focus on conversion, CTR and hook rates rather than purely abstract art.
- Articulate Communicator: You clearly explain your design rationale, creative choices and tool usage.
Some benefits:
- 🖥️ 100% remote work
- ⌚ Full-time schedule, flexible according to objectives
- 🏖️PTO & holidays
- 💻 Laptop.
