Contentful Engineer
Role Summary
We're looking for a Senior Contentful Engineer to own the architecture and evolution of our Contentful CMS platform. In this role, you'll design scalable content models, build custom integrations, and ensure the platform is reliable, maintainable, and optimized for enterprise-grade applications.
Desired Skills
- English B2 or above.
- 5+ years of experience in frontend software engineering with strong JavaScript expertise.
- 2+ years of professional experience working with Contentful CMS.
- Strong experience designing Contentful spaces, content models, localization strategies, webhooks, and custom extensions.
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript, REST APIs, GraphQL, and headless CMS architectures.
- Experience integrating CMS content with frontend applications through robust API contracts.
- Experience managing multi-environment CMS workflows, cross-space migrations, release strategies, and access tokens.
- Proven ability to collaborate with Product, Marketing, and other non-technical stakeholders to build scalable content solutions.
- Nice to have:
- Experience in Fintech, Insurtech, Tax Tech, or other highly regulated SaaS environments.
- Experience with enterprise-scale multilingual websites.
- Experience implementing CI/CD deployment workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture, governance, and technical strategy of the Contentful platform.
- Design scalable content models, space structures, and environment strategies.
- Build custom Contentful extensions and API integrations.
- Develop and maintain headless CMS integrations using REST APIs and GraphQL.
- Manage environment branching, cross-space migrations, release workflows, and access management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into reusable content components.
- Support critical content publishing when required during high-priority releases.
- Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
